Christina unexpectedly began her baking journey in 2020 with a loaf of banana bread for her children's nursery cake sale. Then, unable to find celebration cakes reminicent of her of childhood nearby, she started making her own: light, fluffy, less sweet and filled with fruit. She later fell in love with French patisserie and her delicious tarts soon became her signature bake. Today, Christina’s tarts and other patisserie, just like her cakes, are all handcrafted with care, beautifully decorated and made using high-quality ingredients.
Shortly after opening her business in 2025, Christina was diagnosed with breast cancer and took a step back from baking to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Despite an unexpected year away from the business, the joy of baking and sharing her creations with others kept her going. Today, she couldn’t be happier to be bringing her bakes to London Farmers Market and sharing her passion with the Notting Hill community and beyond.
