Queen Mary Farmers’ Market

Queen Mary University of London in Mile End became the first university location in London to have it's own certified Farmers' Market when it opened in September 2010.

The farmers' market provides a great service to the student population and others in the area, keeping them stocked up with some of the freshest and healthiest local food possible, including locally-grown vegetables, fruit and herbs, pure fruit juices, rare breed meats, cheese, milk and other dairy produce, wild game meats and fish straight from the boats.

There's now much more to the student diet than just baked beans on toast!

The last Queen Mary Farmers' Market of 2011 will be held on the 15th December, and then the market will reopen on the 12th January.
