Walthamstow Farmers’ Market
Walthamstow is a true community market, with a really devoted following.
The market opened in September 2007 just off the High Street, the site of the regular weekday market. Amongst the favourite stalls are the Giggly Pig, who farms free-range pigs in nearby Romford, Picks Organic meat, Brambletye Farm biodynamic eggs and fruit, Gilly Kiddy seasonal game, Ted's Veg and Wild Country Organics, artisan bread from Astons Bakehouse and Le Moulin and unpasteurised milk and cream from Happy Cow farm. It also boasts some fantastic seasonal produce, such as the great range of apples from Millets Farm in the Autumn.
This market takes place on a public square and therefore well behaved dogs are welcome.
