Founded in late 2016, The Pequod is named after the whaling ship in the famous novel Moby Dick. As the name suggests, Pequod sells fish products of the highest quality, at markets all around London. Our products are all carefully selected for their freshness, quality and appearance, and we aim at creating new and delicious combinations with seasonal vegetables and homemade sauces. We equally take inspiration from traditional recipes, such as our smocked haddock rarebit, a deceptively simple Welsh recipe with a wonderful texture and depth of flavours. Made from local ingredients, including hard British cheeses and haddock caught, smoked in Britain and served on a thick slice of sourdough bread and a generous portion of hand-cut chips, this dish is testament to the scrumptious and great food that our nation has to offer.
This producer accepts card payments at some markets.
