David Price of Seafayre is renowned for the quality and freshness of his fish, which comes from the small fishing community that is Rye Bay.
It is caught by the small inshore day boats fishing in Rye Bay and nearby Hythe Bay and is landed either straight onto the beach at Dungeness for Kenny Thomas or into Rye Harbour for merchant Russell Drew at Market Fisheries, both of whom have been involved in the Rye Bay fishing industry for over 40 years.
The variety of fish he brings to the market each week, depends on the weather conditions and the seasons of the fish.
Look out for his hot smoked seabass and cod which have become a huge favourite with customers.
