Boureki specialise in traditional Cypriot and eastern Mediterranean foods with a modern twist. Chef, Sophie, was born in Cyprus, brought up in London, then returned to Cyprus for a decade, where she ran a restaurant, grew and sold organic vegetables, and gathered recipes from her extended family and other village women. Now back in London, she's bringing all that knowledge and experience to Boureki.
Every week they create their menu using whatever is fresh from the market, transforming local produce to create authentic Cypriot flavours. They always cater for vegetarians and vegans, have gluten-free options, and offer a variety of fresh salads and classic Cypriot street-food treats, including koubes, kofte, and their signature dish, bourekia. Come for a snack or a whole lunch, and pick up some traditional biscuits to take home too.
