Is it too early in the year to think about a crumble? Greengages and damsons make the best crumbles (after gooseberries) in our opinion. Pair with a carton of cream from the market and you're sorted!
There are many different varieties of plums; try a few and see which you like. They also make lovely compotes, great for breakfast with yogurt and granola, and wonderful jam.
