Every week is pie week as far as we’re concerned but as it’s British Pie Week, there’s no excuse not to eat pies.

Here's our top eight amazing pie makers at our markets.

Humble Pie wide

Brocklebys Pies

Handmade, award winning, local ingredients, pastry made from scratch…What’s not to like! Being from Melton Mowbray, they naturally produce the authentic pork pie plus a pie range of over 20 different products all using locally sourced ingredients, including their infamous Wild Beaver pie, a classic steak and ale pie, named after the Vale of Belvoir. Their pies have now won over 30 accolades at the annual British Pie Awards.


Court Farm in Kent not only raise beef cattle and lamb, they also make on farm pies, pasties and sausage rolls using their own meat.       


Fosse Meadows

Hot water crust chicken pies, made with Fosse's 81 day slow grown chicken, delicious hot or cold.                                                             

Humble Pie

Traditional suet crust pastry, perfectly crispy on the outside whilst soft and fluffy on the inside. The Humble Pie is bursting with the best seasonal and locally sourced produce including outdoor reared British pork, free range chicken and Sussex beef, lamb and game.  The Humble Pie is simply delicious.


The Parsons Nose

There are long and patient queues for their hand made pie and mash at Bloomsbury, Westminster Bridge and London Bridge. The meat is raised on their farm on the Herefordshire border using hand raised hot water crust including steak and ale, pork cider and apple and venison and red wine.


Pie Station

Dee and Alan are often at market selling the pies that Alan has made, chatting to customers whilst packing boxes full of their delicious hand made products. Seasonal, local ingredients, handmade pastry. Hard to resist.


Sires Hill Bakery

Sires Hill are a small bakery based in South Oxfordshire. Using traditional techniques they hand craft meat pies, sweet pies, quiches, pasties, vegetarian pies and sausage rolls. They use the finest locally sourced produce. English Meat and game from Vicars Game Ltd (Berkshire), fruit from Perry Court (Kent) & Millets Farm (Oxfordshire), vegetables from Ted’s Veg (Lincolnshire) and flour from FWP Mathews milled in the heart of the Cotswolds.
