The Pudding Stop
Johnny of The Pudding Stop is an artisan pudding baker, who bakes delicious puddings at Redbournbury Watermill, St Albans. This is a working 18th century watermill, milling it’s own organic unbleached flour from wheat grown in the field next door. The organic flour is just one great example of the local, seasonal and organic produce that Johnny uses in all of his puddings. The puddings range from: things for the whole family such as Bread & butter pudding and Rum Baba’s, to baked pudding quarters; allowing you to mix ’n’ match the different quarters for friends and family, or take the opportunity to indulge with your own individual steamed treacle sponge and other British classics. He started the business in August 2010, passionately bringing back to life a baking business that his great grandfather Wilfred and his Grandpa Ray had proudly owned many generations before.
