Downland Pigs

Husband-and-wife team Debbie and David Wilkinson, of Downland Produce, have a small herd of Large White / Duroc pigs that roam the fields surrounding their farm in Lacock, Wiltshire.

They are known throughout the West of England for their award-winning sausages, bacon and ham, and are very popular regulars at their markets where they have an extremely dedicated following. They have picked up a number of awards for their products in Taste of the West awards, including a gold award for their pate and silver award for their faggots and hams.

On special occasions and at market events, David’s hog roasts have come to be semi-legendary affairs!
