Beatbush Farm Foods

Beatbush Organic Farm is owned and run by Toby and Nicola Bulgin who produce and sell the finest organic meat and related products in Essex and the surrounding counties. The Beatbush organic beef herd was founded in the autumn of 1999 with the purchase of 52 Limousin cross Friesian heifers and two Aberdeen Angus bulls. The sheep flock was formed in the autumn of 1999, Nicola and Toby decided to try and work with a pedigree breed so that they could breed all their own lambs all year round and were attracted to the French breed INRA because of their ability to breed outside the normal lambing season without the use of veterinary help. 2004 saw the start of poultry production at the farm, day old Legarth geese arrived in May followed by Bronze turkeys in June and now Christmas poultry is produced every year.
