12 Green Acres
Dan Green, of Twelve Green Acres, is a fifth-generation farmer, who farms free-range beef, lamb, poultry and pork at Roebuck Farm in Dorset, with his wife Charlotte.
The farm has extremely high standards of animal welfare which certainly shine through in the quality and texture of the meat. In addition to his raw meat, Dan will also brings with him his exemplary range of traditional pies, pastries and charcuterie products, all made on-farm from his own meat. These include pates, scotch eggs, quiches, sausage rolls and faggots.
Dan has run a number of special events and butchery courses in conjunction with Rose Prince, one of the patrons of our farmers' markets - Dan is an expert butcher as well as a farmer, cutting sides of his own pork, making sausages and curing his own bacon.
